i just cleaned up the dishes from my very first chicken plug roaster dinner, and i have to say...that it was frickin' delicious. my chicken tipped the scales at over 6.5 lbs and still the plug roaster helped it stay succulent and delicious...i will never, and i stress never, roast a chicken any differently. i have always heard of the beer can chicken method, and ive even tried it (once), but the idea of cooking over aluminum has always given me the skeeves...thank you for coming up with a cleaner, more amazing method. i love the idea of being able to customize my herbs and flavorings...awesome.
